Character Becomes Incredibly Fast, No Monsters/NPC Showing

Bug Description :
I just went through a zone portal. After I loaded, my character gained a lot of speed. I also was unable to see any NPC/monsters. I could not go to Character Select as shown in the video below. I was only able to fix it by closing and reopening the game. This happened to me twice.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Go through zone portal

You actually get this when you disconnect from the server, that’s why you can’t see any NPCs/players/monsters and you can’t interact with anything. And even if you move around the map and log out, you’ll end up at the portal (where you came from) when you relog. ^^

Hmm… my net was fine at the time (can hear girlfriend on Skype call in the video) and it didn’t happen when maint was about to come. It’s still good to know what caused it. Thanks for the response Teirou :smile:
