yes im an elitist whit min-maxed gear and higthly enhanced weapon, these maths will confuse people into think that they can be dps as just chaplain and thats wrong.
You can cry because duhallan didnt gave you a box or you can build it rigth.

Nowhere in his topic he stated āBe a chaplain cause itās awesome DPSā.
Heās just comparing weapons.
Comparing weapons for know wich one gives more dps?
Read the first sentence of OP, please.
letās see how weapons influence our auto-attack damage.
Thatās the topic, nothing more
so TL;DR
āguide for pisspoor chaps in lvling phaseā equip cafrisun and get a valia.
Not much elite there if they dont even realise the downsides of using daggers:
-smaller range
-smaller reach
-attack animations are divided into two parts: before hit and after hit. Before + after dagger animation = same as before + after mace animation.
Using daggers only provides a dps boost if used to start a fight while in range, or right after a mace attack (as last hit)
The main reason to use a dagger is to gain benefit from its piercing damage property.

How is auto attacking with a rod? Iām assuming Aspergillum works with it. But, is the attack like a Wiz with a rod with the slow animation and projectile? If not Maga looks really tempting. Iāve been dragging around my Wizard Blade for way too long and some of this gear is too expensive for me to experiment with XD.
(Iām Chap->Druid which makes the extra m.atk super appealing)
No. Clerics attack with a rod the same way youād attack with a mace or sword.
No, you shut up, dagger does more dps.
and piercing property can smd, is about hit more times for proc aspergillum and damage lines.
I bet you didnt even knew that dagger atack speed was bugged and imc had to do a emergency mainteneance hotfix because the dps was stupidly higth.
I did some short tests and those are my results:
Mace / Rods Attack Speed: 1,87 / sec
Dagger Attack Speed: 2,03 / sec
Now the Hit-Boxes wit Oracleās Forecast
Dagger:
Maces/Rods:
if you do one step before attacking your range is slightly bigger
I canāt tell how accurate Foresight is. But Dagger have a slightly shorter range.
Forecast is surely not accurate at all . Just look how wide in area your attack actually hits in comparison to that little hit area in picture 2.
From my own experience, daggers area are surely shorter in wideness (not quite sure about reach). Spears are surely longer in reach and shorter in wideness than swords (yeah ok but weāre not swordmen).
I also think that the mace attack is much wider, but as for range it seems to be quite accurate
wow impressive work done, appreciated for the info given~
So, what weapon is the best for chaplain? Im now lvl 240
If you add the special ability of Toy Hammer, to every 2 or 3 hits get an explosion that deals 1.4k dmg, Toy Hammer become better than Catacombs Club and Valia. TH may only miss DPS for Lolophanter.
Is there actually a dmg formula for Toy Hammer around?
Some say itās 4 times physical attack. I donāt like to calculate with assumptions.
Is it affected by defense and property attack?
Hi @krocsyl ,
Great information when i read this as a chaplain, if itās ok could you also include AoE Attack ratio too when facing a lot of mob. Example : fighting 2/3/4 harugal using Five hammer/catacomb club vs Valia which one would give us more damage.
iām pretty sure that toyhammer is the best weapon you can get regarding auto-attacks, but depending on your R6 and R7 choices it will be Catacomb or Valia vs Devils.
But of course it is lolopanther (lol nub, canāt read graphs!!!")
