Chaplain in the front line = needs dex in dungeons?

Cle1>Pr3>Chap1
I am currently lvl 130+.
Safety Zone is not up 100% of the time.
Stone skin is the same, and Capes for Deploy Capella are not cheap.
I have 130 con and 70+ spr. Should I add Dex for survivability aka evasion?
When I was in the lvl 130 instance dungeon, I went out of position, and when the 2 Glizardons spinned, I almost died, thanks to Revive – but revive also has cooldown.
Adding dex will also give benefits in PvP, attacks won’t miss.
Your thoughts?

If you add dex at this point, your stats will be too spread out imo. If anything, Cleric2 would boost your survivability a lot since you get the attribute for Safety Wall + lv10 Heal…

130 CON is more than enough for endgame content, if you need it this early, you’re probably doing something else wrong. Might be time to switch gears for example… or maybe it was a wrong play from your part.

I would not take PvP seriously at all at this point of development in the game. Ranged magic classes currently have a ridiculous advantage towards you, and so do specialized PvP ranged physical jobs (Quarrel Shooter 3).

Once you start getting to 150+ silver comes all the time so 1k for a cape is nothing. Thats about the time I started using it.
130 Con is plenty as @Naivety said.
I’m assuming you’re still in Cafrisun? If you’re having trouble with surviving you can get some Plate Armor, but that’s also the reason for revive so take it for what its worth.
What classes you choose in R6/R7 will matter more than a few points in Dex at this point.

xD … idk where you got the idea that cleric has high evasion and to tell you, we dont. You could check monster evasion and your chars accuracy, get the difference… and that would tell you how much dex you’ll need.

As a cleric you’d need to invest insane amounts into dex, up to 80% of your entire stats last i checked. You can try, but you would be limiting yourself much more by going that route.

I’d recommend not having dex as a cleric, especially if you’re only aiming for evasion.

Yes, I’m wearing cafri. Maybe I should just switch to something else when dungeoning. What set would you recommend?

Thx to all who replied

Roxona would be good to get, but is tedious and expensive. The plate armor from quests, or even basic recipe’s will work fine. Grab the attribute from the cleric trainer, it’ll make you quite a bit beefier. Playing Chaplain you need a feel for how enemies attack, when you see something wind up move out of the way and rebuff / lay heals / mass heal the party etc.

If there is another dedicated healer in your party you can switch back to Cafrisun to squeeze out a little more dps. Basically you’ll always have a plate set and Cafrisun with you.

Definitely switch to plate set for dungeons and grab the plate mastery attribute. That should boost your health pool by quite a lot. Unless you’re a significant damage dealer of the team (which in dungeons you’re not), then don’t wear Cafrisun.

Thx guys!!!

Lol…u can wear cafrisun fine when u are 10lvl higher than the content since defense scales by lvl too…under lvl than the mobs u get penalty of 10% each lvl at -1 to -3…lower than the mob 10lvl they deal 3x to u…so that’s why at silauai…u see a partymember 10lvl gap higher than u…full con oso get a risk of getting 1shot if crits lmao

I’m running 3dex so far…it’s ok…just wear 2 acc ring then ull be fine

You have to understand that chaplain is a mage not a warrior, he has great dps when built on int. The only phisical damage that you deal is part of the line from the secondary weapon hit.

dex is total and completelly useless.

Cafrisun is always good but there are better options when you add some magic skills into the mix like zaibas and incinerate.

your priority as damage chaplain are always ele damage>INT>m.atack>m.amplification.

if you didnt knew m.amplification is the magic version of critical chance/damage.
