I’m starting now and i still dont know what is better as equip, shield is a nice choice?
Thanks much! Im trying to go more offense like I said. but survivability is nice. I try to make my classes focus on one type of thing instead of a hybrid or balanced. any suggestions for that instead?
edit: nevermind i read your replies to those other 2 people thinking it was for me lol. my bad
also for dropping aspersion or sac, which would give me more damage? if I keep sac max a flat 40 damage (80 against devil types) would I get more damage from keeping sac maxed or if I dropped 5 from aspersion? Also would it be better if bless were higher level? sorry for all the questions
if you don’t have arde yet. you must use shield.
so by going chaplain do i replace my priest buffs ‘blessing, sacrement, monstrance, stone skin and aspesion’ with deploy capella?
wearing a cafrisun set:
if you drop sacrament youll lose around 172 damage on your total combined attack
for calculations, sacrament to lvl 10 from 5(including last rites) will add
(16x2) x5 + 16 damage (with the cafrisun set) without the set youll lose 24 damage from the equation
droping aspersion to 10 will drop the base damage by 210, if you have max atribute this value is doubled to 420
droping sacrament by 5 lvls is better for damage output. if you choose to do so.
@furkingbustar
it wont replace, it will make the buffs persist over an area, which can be good in certain situations, build cappella is only taken since magnus isnt, because exorcise sucks and magnus needs it to be used.
what you need exorcise to use magnus?
Build Capella saves your time buffing your entire party and you can focus on whacking things more (Dont forget to place the heal tiles and Mass Heal :v)
Build Capella still gives bonus despite you doesn’t learn the skill (Example. you doesnt have Monstrance, but Capella still gives out the buff).
Party Members can walk in and out of Capella Zone to refresh the buff duration so I usually place Capella slightly further from boss and party member can just walk inside and engage boss again after buff refreshed.
I usually trick party members to go inside capella by placing Heal tiles inside the capella zone
haha that sounds really useful, must be expensive though running one dungeon and having to put down a 1k silver costing zone every 45-60 seconds? or do u only use it at bosses.
im planning to pick up this skill last.
I only use it on Boss since it is expensive to spam on trash mobs. I maxed Aspergillum first, Capella at 3 and Last Rites at 2 so far. You can take Capella last since the skill is more on “Quality of Life” than actual buffing.
http://puu.sh/oc4wg/a2ece7e0b6.jpg Here are my stats so far. Am I doing alright? Any stats i should invest more in? I should get less of? ALSO how come you didnt max out Blessing? Is it better to have mass heal or something?
Is it worth it to get about 20-30 in both Str and Dex as well? I may have started my priest off a little wacky if not.
question - is aspergillum a party buff or is the only party buff last rites? Also - I know that last rites adds an additional holy hit, but why does it do so if sacrament is already an additional holy hit?
also can you store Revive in the capella?
As far as I can tell, it looks like it’s a self buff for the Chappy.
yeah aspergilium is a self buff. i wonder if it can be put in a spell shop
@deafmutes6
yea thats fine, leave your spr as is, pump int all the way. and get more con when you feel squishy, i recommend 30-50 but you can get more if your not comfortable with the damage your taking.
@elysium
like @GrandTickler says aspergellium is a self buff, but it cannot be put into a spell shop, the only buffs allowed to be sold are from ranks below the pardoners, so you dont have people selling PD’s or Kabbalists op buffs.
honestly the information on Last rites is very vague, all we know is that it basically clones the level of sacrament you have and increase its damage by some % when its recipient is bellow 40% hp, its probably coded as a separate buff from additional property attacks, like sacrament and cafrisun.
Build cappella will only give Aspersion, Monstrance, Blessing, Sacrament and Stone Skin.
the buffs applied are based on what level these skills are, if they have no points put into them the totem will give out lvl 1 versions
What are the stats for this build?
Int/con?
How many con are we looking at
Does Aspergillum also Buff the party with Aspersion if you autoattack on them?
Also, does it count as an Aspersion buff on the Chaplain? Because I didn’t see an Aspersion buff on the caster.
Or do we have to cast Aspersion and Aspergillum all the time to keep both benefits rolling.
Hey @yodish92, do you have a build for the one you were talking about with pardoner in it? And how would you do your stats for that build? Thanks!
