As all of you probably know, rank 8 is coming out soon and I just got my Chaplain at rank 5 and I’ll got for Cleric 2 for rank 6 because you need Cleric 2 and Priest 3 for support. So that’s a given. Now I was gonna go Plague Doctor for rank 7 for the awesome costume. But if rank 8 has a new class that benefits this Chaplain build then isn’t it better to skip Plague Doctor and just go Cleric 3 for rank 7?
Or Krivis c1… and yes now it is better to wait and see what rank 8 will offer.
i doubt rank 8 will benifit chaplain.

You don’t need to go Cleric C2 for support only. There’s Krivis as an option, but Krivis 1 is not that worth as it is at C2 or C3. 
It depends on what you want to build. Don’t go for Cleric C3, maybe you can go for PD C2 in case it comes out or maybe something new. We’ll have to wait.
Putting together what you guys are saying, I think another option is this path.
Cleric 1 > Priest 3 > Chaplain 1 > Cleric 2 > Krivis 2
I think this would be the ultimate support build with some damage from Chaplain for scraping by when soloing.
What will kriv 2 give you that isnt worthless or scrollable?
Zalciai 10 scaled with high SPR and Divine Stigma.
[zalciai] scales HORRIBLY with skill lv. Lv 3 is enough for the attribute and even then that only gives you 100 more crit attack. That is pft at rank 8.
Just my 2 cents, Chaplain “suffers” the most when rank 8 comes because its class-makeup consists of 5 supportive, obligatory classes. You wanna be destructive if you take Chaplain instead of Krivis.
You could take PD to be competitive (Ugh, Daino scrolls) or, well, Krivis. Even if you take PD, you, as a Chaplain, don’t necessarily have to continue the path to C2 since our rank 7 classes already have their own signature skills. Ein Sof, Bloodletting, Healing Factor–all these are great even at lvl 5 unless they continue the trend of moving C1 skills to C2.

Absolutely. Krivis is a 1 or 3 kind of class.

Krivis c2 has its uses, extra points in Daino and Zaibas can never hurt it is just a matter of what you would be getting instead of going Kriv 2.
My full support cleric is cleric2 kriv2 priest3, gives great buffs and has the potential to deal some damage.

Well my current build there’s no Zaibas, it’s pure buffer.
Cleric > Priest C3 > Chaplain > Krivis > PD.
I don’t know if I go for Krivis C2 or a new class is coming up soon in R8.
I thought Zalciai would be a good idea, but it doesn’t seem like.
Also Divine Stigma would be a good choice to go for.

I am not a fan of Divine Stigma, too much work for a small gain in STR/INT. I would recommend getting Zaibas 5, Daino 4, Zalciai 3, Auk 3 for Krivis C1.
Regardless, there are much better options for rank 8 than Kriv2, not to mention we have not seen what the new rank will offer.
I get it. I’ll be waiting for the new classes and other options then.
I don’t play solo and I don’t need Zaibas. I also didn’t invest a lot of points on INT.

Krivis is a class of only one Rank lol. Piece of sh1t.
People use to get only 1 circle for Krivis cause they only play with current classes buffs in mind, so pretty much a +5 “will do”, BUT there are still a lot of incoming classes and we don’t know how many of those will have party buffs and how many, so pretty much, in the future a +5 buff capacity from Krivis will become useless.
Hell right now as a Battle Chaplain (LV 134), I get my buff capacity almost to maxed…

So imagine if I team up with other classes that adds more buffs? betcha a +5 from daino will be still lacking. Krivis is one of those classes that you either go C3 or nothing. That’s my opinion tho.
Let’s hope Rank 8 add something good for clerics, that’s all I want 
Well, if we think in terms of more buffs we have Chrono plus Thauma plus any other class else casting buffs at the same time and Daino fits perfectly to keep all of these buffs alive.
We certainly will need more spots for buffs because of new upcoming classes, there’s no doubt about it.
People say Krivis 2 is not worth because of the bad Zalciai scaling skill it is. I am sure there’ll be other better options to go for instead of Krivis 2. But in a very future some support clerics will have to take at least Krivis 1.

as u can save 4 skill point from cleric1 and get lv10 heal when become cleric2

plague doctor are very good class (probably best cleric)
but it’s not a core in chaplain build
pd are very strong both pvp and pve
but if u really want to play pd and pvp
just build pd with other build that’s not chaplain
don’t forget about pd quest.

if u really want krivis2-3 for more daino then why play as priest?
just build krivis as int cleric (cleric2krivis3, cleric2krivis2 blah blah)
daino lv5 +6 buff slot, and divine might before daino = +7 extra buff
if u really need lv10 or lv15 daino just use lv10 scroll
it’s very rare situation that u really need that amout of buff slot
and anyone can provide scroll not just cleric
priest buff are common but thauma buff not they should provide scroll
Start your C2 K1 Pala 3 pardo 1 ALT to feed you’re daino scrolls, you can NOT play a priest without daino, that’s it (feel bad man).
