Chaplain after patch

Hello guys,

I recently started playing this game and have been reading about a huge patch which will alter much of the games current balance. I also read that there will be a period were the game will allow everybody to play around with different builds in order to adjust to the new formulas.

Since I’m new to the game, I haven’t been able to level up a character high enough to fully take advantage of this tryout period.

Right now I’m trying to build a Chaplain but I don’t know which rout to go
I’ve seen combinations of Chaplain-Inquisitor, Chaplain-PD, and Chaplain-Bokor

I wanted to know if anybody had any recommendations on which build will be good once patch hits? Or If I should be starting a new character because Chaplain will no longer be viable?

Thanks for your help,

A wise old forumer told me: When in doubt, add Miko

Chaplain can be good with many combinations:

C2 P3 Ch KRV INQUIS
C1 P3 Ch Ora/Pard PD2
C2 P3 Ch, Miko PD/Inquis
C1 P3 Ch Ora Kabba2

chaplain will be broken becaus its add 2 line more of damage, that plus the damage bonus from bless on full int/spr build will give u a loot of damage per hit, whatever u get before or late chaplain will be work by it self the last class is about if u want be more supor or more dps

Wow! I’m glad to hear that Chaplain will a good choice!
I really want to try to add PD to it because I prefer having a little support on my builds.
Do you guys also know if now with the new formula taking Aspersion 15 is recommended?

Just wondering if 50 CON and the remainder in INT/SPR 1:1 will work.

Gonna go C2-P3-C-Pardoner 1-Inquis

As i heard… many “int” bonuses got removed in priest/chap skills so… spr with some con would do it better than spread into int. unless u play with other classes to use int and magnus.

Cleric>Priest3>Chaplain>Bokor3 is awesome.
Since the zombies scale with SPR again and seemingly are affected by your own Blessing, they can deal huge amount of damage per hit. Downside is that it has a long setup time and not really many damage skills to use…

Why go full SPR when your local Pardoner most likely have full SPR as well?

Cuz SPR benefits your blessing (count limit applies to pardoner which is not high enough to keep it up all times) also benefits sacrament now, as so does then to last rites.

Cuz SPR benefits your summons (zombies too supposedly) to be stronger in dmg and def…

Why not take spr? i ask

Does pardoner SPR now affect shop blessing buff?

I have to wonder: I saw that one of the popular Cleric builds is C2/P3/Chap/Miko/Inq. Is that thing still built as an Int specialist notwithstanding the removal of most (if not all) Int modifiers in skills?

because every points dumped in SPR is a point not dumped in STR/INT, and I want to become the magical melee :c

Because attributes.

The blessing attribute now improves the blessing by 50%
