Channel re-balance? I'm looking at you, sissel bracelet

Ok so, when I have seen the news about the channel re-balance I was guessing that they would increase church 1F channels, reasons:

-Sissel is the only true end game pve bracelet for the most of high dex build (with rank 8, basically, any phisical DPS) and is on great demand.

On Fedimian battle bracelet run ALREADY at 10m, they are BiS, and you need TWO for your build to be endgame.

Building an end game animus char is much easier, you only need one and, per se, the item is much more common as well on the market, so you have multiple way to achieve it.

Now, you went from THREE channels to TWO?!

IMC is just trying to ā€œhateā€ bot while not caring at all about end game balance?

For starters, having the BiS ring dropped on a low level mob with slow respawn is retarded, srly. Put it into an istance where people can farm it and not enter a lottery, or race he drop rate to make control the price better or, well, add channels (yeah, thatā€™s a nice troll, isnā€™t it?)

With only 2 channels I can see the price skyrocket, Iā€™m problably gonna go back to my Diev for rank 8, no way Iā€™m gonna spend hours at night (turning my brain into a bot one -.-) for such a nightmare item to be farmed.

The fact that building a dex char cost more then double (in milion, talt, lottery in night farming, whatever) to build an int char make no sense at all.

The funniest thing of all is that you are really starting to make players hope the bots are gonna find it for them, since itā€™s such a nightmare otherwise and, as a company, pushing your community to simpatize for the botters is not a great idea, honestlyā€¦

I was thinking exactly the same, wanted to farm it cuz i thought they would increase the number of ch and booom! 2 channels only, GL IMC, there is no point on farming this item right now. Itā€™s absolutely ridiculous that an end game item depends on battle bracelet, which is almost impossible to farm right now.

Tenet 1F is now 2 channels only!? Itā€™s just going to be 1 channel at this rate.

I barely see BB on Fedimianā€™s market as it is. I should have farmed it when there were loads of channels.

I was hoping the channel increase would apply to hotspots like thisā€¦ What areas got a channel increase then?

Luckily here at Telsiai we sill have 3 channels. We can still be happyā€¦until the same thing happen to us.

Agreeing with TS, now it would be impossible to get, already farmed 800 spending around 5 days and still no BB, and most complains about bots in this location is just ridiculous, never seen even 1, a lot of people just call simple farmers - ā€œbotā€. On Fedimian most of this ā€œbotsā€ already 280 and already have sissel/gladi

Yes, plus the fact that people with older accounts are setting on 2x sissel already, since it was EASIER to farm, make new players in a super though spot.

In game balance, like channels, should NOT modify the rarity of an item (if not chosed by game design).

This is NOT game design chose, this is just overlap between two different problems (bots, channels) where are a rarity of an item is ā€œcollateralā€ damage.

Well, since itā€™s an end game item, I would call it retarded design choices, I hope IMC will work into this soon.

It makes no sense that an end game item like sissel or gladiator band requires a lvl 40 monster item drop. Battle Bracelet should be implemented in higher lvl mobs, world boss or dungeon boss. Period.

Just make it drop the Tenet boss cube, that will solve some issues. Or you know donā€™t make it a dkp item. Or reduce dkp needed to get the item.

Seems weird how they keep making Sissels and Gladiator rarer and rarer by nerfing drop rate of a 40 level item. I just hope 330 has a better bracelet but Iā€™m not very hopeful.

Just rebalance the dkp to the ratio where there were more channels.

In that way they would keep theyā€™re game design choice (very bad, making a lvl 40 mob drop an end game item, but the damage is done and rebalancing the drop somehow else will be more painfull and risky, I guess).

dkp 470+ is RETARDED on 2 channels compared to when there were 10+ channels to be farmed.

They are, srly, killing my fun in this game.

Iā€™m gonna buy gold via token selling (KAPPA), and I will be the 1st sponsor of chinese botters hoping that they can still put a battle bracelet on the market twice a week.

I totally agree with you. Whatever the drop value IMC wants to achieve for the item should stay constant, whether itā€™s 1000 channels or just 1.

DKP values should not be static, unless channel count stays static, otherwise reducing the channel hurts everyoneā€™s chances to get the item. Itā€™s already unfair to all the newer players who did not have the luxury to farm for Battle Bracelet when there were 6 channels. Now that we are at 2 channels, itā€™s going to be borderline impossible to get.

All this does is, it promotes botting and buying silver from RTM.

Please reevaluate the drop system thatā€™s currently in place for these kind of items. It simply hurts genuine players. Not to mention DKP should not reset during the maintenance.

This, from a game design pov, is the obv point.

IF you race /downgrade the nummer or channels you SHOULD change DKP in the same ratio, UNLESS you want to balance a rarity drop.

And I donā€™t think anybody want to see LESS battle bracelets since the drops per day were ALREADY retarded at 3 channels.

Till they donā€™t balance this, Iā€™m gonna join the bot fanbase, GOOD JOB IMC.

I dont want to bring DPK topic here but DPK not even confirmed, how can you say that it exists? itā€™s just korean random and all, if you believing in every drop chance that written on tosbase then you a wrong, they write it by themself and no one know true chances, we could only guess them, and i have a lot of self proofs on that.
if talking about rough random chances in getting item channels increase would help a lot more, because on nights we have all three filled with 7ppl and ~5 of 21 farming BB

Honestly this is the main reason why new players quit right from the start. this is the only game with horrible and ridiculous restrictions which hurts the genuine players more than it does hurt the bots lolšŸ˜…

Let it be DKP or 0,2%, the battle bracelet rarity doubled since we went from 6 channels to 3, and now doubled again.

It was obv already to anyone that 3 channels are not enough at this drop ratio (10m 1 battle bracelet IF you are so lucky to see them on market).

Now, following a pretty basic economic rule between offer and demandā€¦ Wellā€¦ You can do the math by yourself.

Stop flaming bots, they are your best friend! Just buy silver via token (KAPPA) and wait for the lovely bots to find 1 battle bracelet.

Plus, on a side note, theyā€™re name are getting a bit better, lately <3

actually, thereā€™s a solution to that (but expect the price to get decreased), make the galok spawn rate / make it sure that more galoks will appear in that specific area / make more channels for people (or bots) to farm battle bracelet / make the drop chance of battle bracelet higher

it would be nice if all of these got implemented, lesser bots will be farming in there

will be expecting some people to disagree with me :wink:

To be honest, Iā€™m rich enough to buy gold /tp/whatever all day long.

But I value the quality of the games I play, and I value my free time (since Iā€™m a worker).

Iā€™m not sure if:

  • I do want to pay for a game with horrible game balance

  • I do want to grind low level contest for end game gear with, obv, the wrong drop rate, since, even if I enjoy grinding, grinding 50+hours at 280 vs 40 lvl mobs is retarded, not funny, and barely something that I would call game contest at all.

  • I do care to play a game were the only thing that matters is economy, making players annoyed from a potential fix to an horrible drop rate just to preserve they own in game economy, like you suggest in your reply.
