hey IMC …as far i can see you have 2 good options here to fix this problem.
Eighter you start investing in REAL DEDICATED servers in Brazil…
Or you can just move this ■■■■ server to Argentina where Blizzard also host their south american servers…YES they have a ping of 155 for brazilian players but i never had to complain about it…its perfect…
I’m from Argentina and I’m against this, if they fix the ■■■■■■■ game and servers the ping in the current BR location will be perfect.
oh…you are from Argentina huh? and u don’t want servers in there? why? as far i can see blizzard can handle the servers there for what? 5 years now? and they are PERFECT…Brazil does not have Ultra Fibre…we do not possess the infro structure to hold 20k players…
I really dont care how to fix it, but PLEASE DO IT! I cant even enter a city without lagging or changing channels…
Because I ■■■■■■■ know how stuff is handled in Argentina and please go ahead and tell me which is the Blizzard’s server here because I was always redirected to an US or BR server in WoW.
Blizzard has a server in Argentina? since when? I always get redirected to Brazil. I need more info on this, thanks.
@Siete Are you sure blizzard hosts a latin american/br server? I’ve played in Gallywix for a month and the server was still hosted in NA. It’s different in Diablo3/Overwatch, though.
seems like a DDoS attack again…
I used to play in Ragnaros, wasn’t that in SA?
pretty sure that at least hots is hosted in brazil, also, iirc using amazon servers… just like tos, the problems are ddos and a huge influx of new players, give imc some time, they have a lot to do, eventually (i hope) everything will be fine.
I played there for a year, roughly. I had around 160 ping, which means NA. They only put labels such as Brazil, Latin America, etc, to make people go there instead of other servers because community reasons. All the servers in WoW, at least on US are hosted in the US. There’s no latin american nor brazilian server.
Although they DO have servers in Brazil that are used for Diablo 3, Heroes of the storm and lately, overwatch.
Correct. They also use amazon servers. People need to realize that this game was unplayable on the release day, I had around 600 ping for the first 3 days of the game. Just calm down, this was expected.
Well I had twice the ping I should and sometimes higher during iCBT2
Now I get over 300ms when I shouldn’t have more than 40ms, nothing changed.
The servers are indeed hosted on South America, they are just crowded as balls atm. And I’m pretty sure people are DDoSin the servers aswell, it was quite smooth for me when I tried it a few days ago. I decided to stay on Klaipeda for party purposes, though,
I’d play over there if only class performance wouldn’t drop so violently with more than 100ms
The SA servers from Blizzard are hosted not only in Brazil but also in the exact same datacenter as ToS.
Yet the connection here is pretty unstable while it’s working pretty well in Diablo 3.
It’s not a server’s fault. It’s specific to ToS.
the lag we are experiencing looks like the old klaipedia times when it release
Impossible to play on SA server
