Change Priest build from Chaplain to Plague Doctor

Hello Community,

i continued to play ToS after a 1-2 months break. With more information about new rank 8 classes, i decided to change my priest build. Originally, i wanted to do a Chaplain build (cleric c2 -> Priest c3 -> krivis c1-> Chaplain). My Char is now level 200. I skilled my priest in the written order, so i’m rank 6 at the moment with Cleric c2 -> Priest c3 -> Krivis c1. My stats are Con around 60 and Spr:Int in a 2:1 ratio (its around 200:100 at the moment).

My idea is now to drop the Chaplain (i’m somehow not interested in that class anymore) and get Plague Doctor c1&2 in rank 7 and 8.

My question is now: is that still a viable build for pve? I’m ONLY interested in pve content in this game, and PD looks like good pvp class? Are the stats still okay for PD c2? I know i have to use skill reset potion and change some skills, because my priest skills are set for chaplain.

I like the idea of support in MMOs and PD seems the right choice for me for a supportive build. Thanks in advance for your help and answers.

Viable, sure. But hardly ideal or optimized.

Plague Doctor does not scale with spr at all, and due to it’s multitude of hits it’s far better with a high int build.

On the lob side priest without chaplain just isn’t a good fit for int builds either due to it’s lack of int scaling. Chaplain fixes that issue by itself though.

I would advice a different class combo for pve tbh, though priest3/krivis/pd is currently a decent full support pvp build. (Altough often more as a high con or con/spr version though.)

Cleric2/Bokor3/pardoner/pd2 is the standard pd dps build atm, with insane consistent dmg and easy incinerate set ups. But not as supportive.

More defensive variants will likely be with paladin or diev/druid for the invulns, maybe a krivis3 for melstis. (but miko looks like it will replace melstis for specific team comps…)

I had a few day to think about my future path now and i came to the conclusion to take Plague Doctor C1&2 on rank 7 and 8. As i mentioned earlier, i right now have 200 Spr, which is a good amount for supporting. The only skills relying heavily on SPR are Zalciai and Deprotected Zone. All other important skills are based on INT, too, or only INT.
So from now on i will invest only in INT to catch up. This will not only increase dmg output, but my Heals, too. That will boost my Heal support. Win-Win i think.

If the path i chose is not mainstream or not the “best”, i don’t mind, its a game. :slight_smile:

you can take c1 of PD for bloodletting fumigate pandemic and beakmask. For rank 8 u can have miko or anything else
