Dude they got like 4 defensive formations lol and 2 offensive formations.
IMO their meant for either HEAVY tank build or hybrid.Wing formation is obviously a mob rush clear for farming items or EXP.

Change to Crane Wing formation. Rush towards target and defense of enemies within range decrease.
Perhaps at C2 and C3 they will gain more offensive formation who knows right?
Most of defensive formation boost the āfrontlineā the centurion is in the center, so i donāt think it should affect him ^^
He/She are always in the center in all the videos I have seen.I wonder if they truly canāt be in the front of their own formation?.If Centurion can never rotate to the front than you are 100 % correct.

The skill description only says enemies lose their DEF, it doesnāt say the player āalsoā lose DEF.

Well yeah canāt be sure, but since there are only 9 slots in formations and center spot doesnāt count as one i donāt think you can yet move to frontline. Maybe in circle 2/3 ^^
if you make the wing formation and move backwards you will be at the āfront lineā

mean that it doesnāt matter, who is in the front line and who is not, and also makes centurion def stats relevant even if he is standing in the center?
Nah it means that it onlya ffect the frontline āTo the three at the frontlineā means what it just means ^^
Thing is what is frontline? Is it the line 1-2-3? Or is it any line where the Centurion look at?> if itās the second one you would just have to change wher eyou look with your centurion during battles to be abble to buff who need it and when they need it in battle. (Like someone come from one of your flank to attack your dps, just look at the flank and it becomes your frontline so much possibilities.)
Anyway right now Centurion has a lot of flaws and needs some rework: in formation you canāt use skills except maybe buffs, and formations members do their auto attacks when the leader do his auto attacks). So Centurion doesnāt help people to level up, it just do everything for them. You could make a guild account with a centurion and players use it to level their team (if they can launch two ToS at the same time with 2computers or with two launchers). You could have like that a 24h/24 of farming just by using one member at a time and that kinda suck. Gold Seller will use this way too to farm gold faster with Centurions and their Farming Teams. 
But yeah there could be a little fail in the description of the skills and they could forgot to say in affect the centurion as well as the affected player.
Its the line in front of centurion, thats why he needs to use change direction skillā¦
Well, you can use skills in formation, but sometimes the formation movements cancel the animation =/

Well but since the Centurion can turn arround without the skill does it means when he look left without using the skill, the left guys become the frontline?
If yes you can use it for tactic purpose so that your flank donāt get too much damage in the head while you rotate formation for your tanks to be the frontline again ^^
If you look at thoose centurion gamelplays popping here and there youāll see that u can rotate the formation, but the front line will always be the same guy.
I think the front line is determinated whe you cast the making formation skill, and it would be the line in front of your char.
