Centurion demonstration

This video from the JCBT showcases Centurion gameplay for around 1 hour where the players test various things.

Several points to note:

  • Keeping a formation open costs around 1% of your SP roughly every 2 seconds or so, that’s roughly 200 seconds of use, not factoring in other skill use during this time. This is a big problem, as you can see the Centurion in this video loses his formation very often due to his SP running out completely. Hope this gets fixed soon.
  • You can use skills inside your formation, but if you are locked in one place during your skill use and your formation moves, you will stay and become out of formation. If your formation moves back to you, you will be put back in formation and your skill will be cancelled. Perfect demonstration with Monk’s Energy Blast at 7:16 in the video. At 7:35 the Dievdirby returns to formation after being left out of formation to finish Carve Owl.

God, the SP usage on those formations is ridiculous. That adds a whole other dynamic to it unless they change that altogether.

The centurion class as a whole needs some work. The SP issue is less of an issue, as I don’t think they expect players to stay in formation at all times. When in formation, potions now give a burst of SP and then continue recovering SP over time, so it’s less of an issue for centurions.

Do Centurions actually have any attacks?

The Centurion himself also said ‘It’s awkward to use formation with party’.
I myself can also see that, it seem slow down the grinding instead of helping, people breaking formation for using skill like Diev carving statue, mage miss their target.
It took him sometime to have a proper formation facing the target.

'#centur is not easy

In my opinion, if Centurion ever gets a rework, then it needs a toggle skill (or attribute) to lock out people who aren’t in our formation yet.

Toggle OFF, then people and our party members won’t be able to get into our formation even though we’re using one. Toggle ON, then people and our party members can get into our formation as they like. That way, Centurion can manage the battlefield and party members much better than before.

all you guys already pick is this game ?

im feeling hype right now

Now thats a good idea. I totally agree with you bro.

I do like the idea of this class but i feel like i will almost never want to play with somebody who is using it unless it’s a close friend that i know is good. I can just imagine them kind of slowing a team down with their moves tbh

Really interesting game mechanic… SP usage does look a little overbearing, however.
