So I logged into and registered my account then signed up for cbt2 on the website now I’m reading up after a friend has me worried about having to register for cbt2 with steam or something? Am I going to miss out? 
You need to press register for 2nd beta button. If you just register now then I guess that’s too late because register is end already and they already remove that button from main page. But if you did it a few days ago and already press button then you’ll be fine.
As for steam you have to use key on your stream account. So you can download it from steam and play TOS from there. Link are optional since I didn’t link my steam account at here and can still playing fine in 1st beta.
no, i believe the game is downloaded through steam but the beta key would go to ur acc on tos/email. so u can just link ur steam to ur tos acc/email, meaning when the game appears on steam u can just chuck the beta key in and play
