CB2 Date Time Question

All Dates and Times are based on Eastern Standard Time (NA).
EDT will be applied until Oct 31st and EST will be applied from Nov 1st.

That was posted earlier, and what does the EDT applied Oct 31st and EST Nov 1st mean? So does the beta start on the 27th or 31st or 1st. I don’t really get it.

  1. CBT will start in 27 October.
  2. Before Nov 1st they will use EDT as time zone, and they will change it into EST after Nov 1st.
    They just wanna use new timezone for some reason.

nov 1st they will use EST time zone. Just it, the beta gate shall open oct 27.

EDT is a Timezone. That means they will use the Timezone EDT until the Nov 1 and then they will use EST and the Beta will start on the 27

The Beta test starts on Oct. 27 at 3:00 AM.

EDT will be applied until Oct 31st and EST will be applied from Nov 1st.

All this means is that Daylight Saving Time is going to be applied and the clocks on the server are going to be set back an hour (which changes the timezone from EDT to EST).

Sunday, November 1, 2015, 2:00:00 AM clocks are turned backward 1 hour to
Sunday, November 1, 2015, 1:00:00 AM local standard time instead

I just wanted to make sure people we not being accepted differently based on the time zone for when it started. Thanks.

good time to check if the server can handle daylight saving time change yay!

It’s just NA adjusting the time used on Nov 1. So it changes from EDT to EST. But you don’t need to worry abt it cuz when u try to calculate the time, usually most online date time website will adjust that for u.
