Hello, I never had the chance to play this game yet, so I have a little question.
If you change from Cathapract to Doppelsöldner are you still able to ride your pet and use the skills of the Cathapract or not?
Yes you still may, but there are caveats to it, and the details I really don’t know coz I’m not than fond of the swordsman class. 
hmm, thank you for the quick answer, I really wondering what the restrictions are? I never saw a video where a Doppelsölder rides a mount.
Never did saw one too, however, I’ve seen one about “Swartzhe” Reiter, it’s also a mounting class… you may look that up in youtube.

there’re weapons restrictions, but if i’m not wrong, they’re trying to minimize the amount of skills with weapon requirement. i dont think you get any restriction with pets/mount …
I see…that’s meh, I really would love a Doppelsölder with Cathapract+Doppel skills…

As far as I know all classes can use mounts, But not all classes can use all their skills while mounted. Unlike Cataphracts where all their skills are mount based.

Well I was meaning to point out exactly what the two other posters said, and that the exact same rules would definitely apply for the Cata-Doppel scenario.
