Cataphract>Fencer ? Is it viable for PVP?

Hi guys, I know that all Fencer skills will take you off the mount, but I’m mainly aiming for the speed on PVP.

It would work like this:

Run like h3II till get near opponents, use Iron Hook, and starting moaning with Fencer skills. And can I use Steed Charge to get near them without breaking the Hook ?

So, what do you guys think ?

I know that Cata C3 should be more feasible, but I want to go Fencer C2, and in the future, C3.

My PVP build for rank 8 is: SW3>???>Corsair>Fencer3
My rank 4 is still not decided.

I don’t think cataphract 1 trot is enough to be that speedy. It’s just like sprinting I believe.

and think, if u are going to fencer3, and can’t use fencer skills while mounted, worth it cataphract?

maybe u will lost your entire power (fencer3)?

You can use Fencer skills when mounted, but you automaticaly leave your mount. So technicaly you’re not using it mounted.

I need to see Fencer C3 skills and attributes before deciding though.

dont think it will work well.

cataphract skills can’t be used with rapier and fencer skills can’t be use with spear.

so u have to weapon change all the time, mount remount all the time, and u r slow with only cata1. (dashing is faster than trot lv5)

it is better u take peltasa or something for extra hp and taunt.

if u really hate cleric and wiz, u need to re-stat ur build =p

full dex is like… the worst match up against them.

lol I wouldn’t say unlimited heal and immunity, that stuff does run out for a cleric. Knockdowns help a lot vs clerics.
I went for more STR and CON on my new swordsman with a little DEX, mainly because i encounter more full CON mages and clerics than anything else. More often I get a wizard or cleric on my team, I let them handle the full dex swordies/archers xD i just CC them for the most part.
