So I’m planning on going late game Cataphract but I have serious doubts about rank 2 choice, I’m going Hipolite on rank 3 for the Finestra buff… What do u guys think is better, SW2 for the Gung Ho 10/10 or Peltasta for Swash Buckling taunt,Guardian and shield skills when 1handed spear + shield. I’ll usually be a Cataphract with 2handed spears equipped but since its easy to change weapons on ToS I think it might be interesting and situational to change between 2hnd spear and 1hnd + shield
I have only played for like 2 weeks, I have a Swordsman1-Peltasta1-Hoplite1 and I find it pretty useful for soloing and partying purposes. Swash skill make it very easy to mob, you can save other party members from being targeted, the MHP buff you get already makes it worth it. I’m sorry I can’t help much.

im at level 98 swords x pelt x hoplite x cata and it sync well for my playstyle. With grand harpoon, I haven’t equipped my 2h spear for a while because of the benefit from pelt+hoplite. You can keep switching but 1h spear with shield+gem damage is not that far off from 2h spear until you found much better 2h spear at level 120. Anyway any choice is fine as long it suits your play.
