So I just got my first rank in Cata and am using a buffed up grand spontoon with arde. I’m assuming (considering that I see all mounted builds using 2h spears) that that’s what I should be doing but I just wanted to confirm as I have all the pieces of lydeka ready to go except for free partisan and I wanna make sure that’s the way to go before I drop a ton of silver to craft lydeka.
at cata you can only use 2h spear, unless you have holite or dragoon in ur circles.
if you’re already using 1h spear then i guess you have hoplite though.
yea I took one rank of hop, but yea I’m trying to figure out long term what I should be using, Lydeka looks super powerful at 75 and not sure if there’s anything else I should even bother getting between it and Cata Pike on the way
Cata/Dragoon have skill mastery for 2h spear, 1hr spear-arde dagger is for farming. Lydeka is good if you can afford it, You can use it up to lvl 180, though personally I used Trident > Galin Trident > Cata pike.
