I’m making a Cata future Dragoon, str/dex and i want to know if i should use plate or leather, which one would be better or it’s freely to i choose?
I’d stick to plate, you’ll need the damage reduction because of two conjunct reasons:
a) a melee fighter, you’re prone to be hit often.
b) while you may have big evasion with max leather attribute, it doesn’t apply to magic damage…
Plate gives you a larger stamina pool, and some nice damage reduction as well, you’ll need it lategame.
Stamina is not needed as a Cata.

Alrigth got it. One more question, atm i’m using cafrisun, i’m lvl 64, shoud i stay with cafrisun till which lvl? Or should i get a plate fast? u.u
You can keep cafrisun up to the 100’s, it’s not that hard, yet.
But you’ll notice the cafrisun bonus starts to fall off then, in the meantime you should be leveling plate mastery attribute, that’s the important thing when going for plate.
I use cafrisun when there is priest in party.
I use plate when there isn’t a priest in party.
I still don’t see cafrisun as a late game viable set for a cataphract.
