do i spend 5mil to buy the overrated first 1 but can equip it at 170 and am a cleric or do i buy the underrated cheap one that will be expensive to level and i’ll probably have bad luck upgrading with??

am a druid so should i get superior corona rod even tho it will make me look poor and busted i hate the blue coloring on it its UGLY

What Lv are you? Since you are magic DPS, yes you should go with rod or a mace with some elemental damage like arde dagger have, holy is preferable, since you might use cure and your heal for damage.
I am using this on my Sadhruid build.
My damage is good, i am still leveling my attributes tho.
I will probably look for a substitute soon, just didn’t found many good options, at this time i wish cleric could use staffs.

Rod is better for a druid. You can upgrade it heavily and still spend less then a cata club, but gain more damage.

Once I have enough money I’ll sell my cata club and buy a +10 SCR. I got grynas set to compensate for the HP.
Cata club was pretty ok to use during the leveling phase but now as a 280 your main concern is World bosses / dungeon rush / ET you’ll need that extra damage. Another reason is because you can’t weapon upgrade(squire) cata club since it will only increase p.atk
