Cash shop model questions

I have not played the game yet but I am asking this based on past
mmos that i have played.

I’m not to sure if this has been asked or not but i am curious to
know if there is the cash shop business model announced or not?
My main focus is if this game will be a “pay to win”
model. Such as refine craft boots, exp boost, consumables, all those
sort of things. Will items such as bags be on a timer? such as extra
bag space for 30 days then it goes away?

Since some of these common items in p2w games seem like it would
hurt some class options (alch/pardoner).
Another question is with this cash shop model, will there be a
chance for us to exchange in game currency to cash shop currency? Are
the cash shop items going to be able to be traded or sold in a shop?

Thank you for considering my questions and any answers that
fallow. I am just worried that a great sounding game will end up
being pay to win like so many. Which i personally get deterred from
wanting to play when the model becomes like that.

I think the only confirmed thing about the cash shop is the cosmetic stuff? I haven’t heard anything about p2w stuff.

I read somewhere on the forums that the head developer was Ragnarok’s head developer but left when they made that pay2win system in the game… So I am assuming we are safe from pay2win

Well since most F2P games will eventually turn p2w anyway. The question is how bad it will be.

League of Legends though

There is a cash shop, we don’t know whats in it.

In previous test phases, classes that offered a service (EX: Oracle can tell server stats to players), can sell their services to players via Cash Currency.

But really, no one knows what will be in the cash shop, or how cash currency will be used in-game for class services.

Please mark @FatePGN as answer, as we dont know more than he wrote.

Shouldn’t crop cash shops models of 2 different genres together :stuck_out_tongue: a MOBA and an MMORPG are on two separate ends of the spectrum when it comes to how a game is, could or would be effected by a P2W cash shop.
