I wanted to ask you guys if it possible to make mercenaries or combat pet. I have some ideas and I wonder if you would like them. Granted, it might be base off a few games. Hopefully I thought of something in this that is a little different too.

Have a in-game system where you can hire NPC mercenary and have a loyalty program with like a guild for the mercenary so you can hire stronger more advance classes.

Have a mercenary/pet system that you can buy either in-game or cash shop that will level up along side you. They could be pets, retainers, or mercenary. (Could even give cash shop item to look better)

Have a system that let you make something like a npc version of yourself that you can sell to others to use daily(make it that you can choose 4~8 skills for AI to use)

A series of in-game quest that let you get register as a mercenary and when you logout in like a mercenary guild hall or turn on a option before logging out so they can hire you. Or even a lump sum for membership for a week or month. You could make it so that we need to pay a sum of gold each time we register before logging out and hope we get hired while we offline. We can be award gold and some experience if we get hired. And to prevent like focus only on some well known players, you can make it so they can only chose the rank and class of the players not by name or list of players(pretty much random depending on only class, rank, and/or level range [6~10, 11~15, and etc.]). (I know this program will be complicated)

Being able to summon your friends AI while they offline. (randomize skills set they can use)
I personally would like number 4 to be able to implemented. I can think more in-depth for that too. Like a option screen when you talk to a mercenary guild npc that pops up show character rank, class, and it will calculate the cost on the bottom and for how long in increments of maybe 30 mins. Make it so once someone been hired, they be off the random list til the end of their contract + maybe 30 min ~ 1 hour. If they die, contract ends. The money earned should be a fraction of what they are paid. Should they last throughout the whole contract, they should get a bonus experience and gold (still not more than what the players paid to hired them though)(it shouldn’t be a lot of experience earned with or without bonuses and bonuses can be base on bases level X increments of time alive maybe 1~3% per 30 min + 50% exp earn if they last the entire contract?). You can also make it so they can hired certain players if they paid extra gold. You can also make a cash shop so you can buy a membership with gold or cash. You could instead let members earn special currency or rep instead of gold or exp(or maybe all 3?) so they can exchange it for special in-game items or equipment. Membership should expired to prevent people who quit from still being hired. A mercenary should take the spot of a party member and they can gain experience while fighting but that only temporary and will be not be permanent(to prevent power leveling). Restrict hiring mercenary much higher than the players (maybe max 15 level higher than the player who hired them and/or maybe 1 rank above them). If i think of more i add it later in edit.
In sense that give more incentive to hired a mercenary, they should be able to earn rep or special currency to buy special in-game item or equipment also
