Carfrisun bot farming solution

As many of you all know or have experienced many bots like to camp the eastern island on Srautas Gorge with their scripted bots to farm a mob called Cafrisun. Killing this mob rewards all participants wtih a piece of the Cafrisun set a leather set which sells for quite a bit on the market place. These bots are what has driven the price of this set down. I feel the best solution to bringing the Cafrisun set back up to a good price and elimiating the bot problem there is to randomize the spawn point for Cafrisun to include the entire map, and to increase his re spawn timer from 5 minutes to at least 10-15 minutes. If Cafrisun can spawn anywhere on the map bots wont be able to traverse the whole thing and just collect free gear to later be flooded into the market.

Please feel free to start the discussion on this, and keep reporting those bots guys. I know it feels bad but hang in there I have faith we are starting to see an end to the botting.

In all honesty: the price is not down because bots farm it but because you wont need even 30 minutes to have it farmed yourself. There is no demand in this items that needs to be filled by market place other than those who dont know where it drops.

yes it is easy to farm, so the price is cheap too…

Yeeeeeea… I don’t know about that… Cafrisun has 100% drop rate, I’d say 25% for each piece, and there’s like 15 channels, it respawns every 5 minutes. And because it’s one of the best equipments in the game (specially for archers) it makes a lot of people grind it, therefore the market has a billions competitors seeking for sales, the price will always naturally be reduced to the ground. When I see people selling for 7k I think it’s too much, I’d say 5k is a fair price for each Cafrisun piece.
Cafrisun should be changed, it doesn’t make sense to have such an easy powerful dps booster at lv15 and use it until the very end game.

Yes, So lets create a more competitive market for it. and make it not so easy to obtain. A large portion of the community feels the Cafrisun set can last them until lvl 170. So I feel it should be harder. I like the idea to lower the drop chance that would help. But I think the main reason to create the global map spawn is to eliminate the bots.

Bots roam whole map and are likely to find and kill him before you do. So easy solution by randomizing spawn place is not actually a solution. During CBT2 Cafrisun had randomized spawn timer - something between 15 and 30 minutes and there we no bots and still that set cost close to nothing.

Also that set is overrated and mainly useful for leveling support builds/classes that are not that easy to solo compared to DPS.

IF you want to find a niche market - try selling Abomination sets. I think they will net you a nice amount of silver. Because that set + Zachariel bangle = +6 to ALL stats and an additional +3 to SPR and CON.
