Does anyone know if Capella will give zombies buffs that they otherwise wouldn’t receive? Zombie chaplain inquisitor is a crap shoot, but after crunching some numbers it might be a fun experiment, assuming they somehow gain sacrament, last rights, and blessing, which I’m aware is not the case from normal buff casting.
They receive blessing additional damage when using Bwa Kayiman, but i never saw if it add to their basic attacks, i doubt tho, never saw them take any buff except Samediveve.
Zombies can get Blessing and other buffs. The priest bots used to Blessing near my zombies and my zombies get the buff. There are some information on Bokor topic about which buff the zombies can get too. About Capella, I don’t know.

I will take a look on it later, i have some doubts about the damage from zombies and Bwa Kayiman.
One thing i noticed tho is that the damage from Bwa is 1 tick per second instead of 1 tick per zombie hit, ex:
When you hit a monster with it the first time, it will take the hit, then after 1 second (and 2 or 3 zombies) the next hit enter, also, if you have low accuracy, you get lots of misses.
But i think that skill should be per zombie hit, it would become a nice multi hit skill and provide bokor a better way to kill stuff faster and efficiently.
You can’t bless your own zombies. Others can. Most likely because of the extra target attribute… I still don’t know btw if the bug is that others can Bless them or that you can’t…because it seems weird.
Aspersion, Revive, Stone Skin works on them from Priest. I think Capella wouldn’t affect them at all…but can’t confirm.
Never tried this. But capella only works for people on your party only.
Random people can’t get the buff if they are not on your party.
You can pretty much guess why I said that:
- Does your zombies included on party? well no.
- Ever tried to cast sacrament on your party’s other units?(aka Shoggoth, Salamion, or any sumonning?) Did their summons get the effect? not as far as I know
As for blessing, random people can still get them. It’s not bug but the extra target attribute is the cause.
Enchant fire is also one of those.
Stone Skin and Revive doesn’t work on anything outside of the party but like everything inside it… zombies/summons/summoned objects. So it is not that simple.
…and the blessing bug is about the zombies because as I said other priests can bless them but you can’t use it on your own zombies if you are a priest-bokor. So the bug is either that you should be able to use Blessing on your own zombies too or Blessing shouldn’t affect them at all.
wait a minute… I know that revive works on every object and summons as long as they are in range but stone skin as well?
Yeah blessing buff is really weird. There was a time I followed a chaplain bot so I can just leech his blessing buff but the duration was on 45 sec back then.

So to sum up, I believe that your own capella doesn’t affect your own zombies but if it’s other chaplain in party then PROBABLY it will?
I just tried…well the effect shows on my aukuras/capella when I cast it but actually they didn’t block any enemy attacks…I think that maybe revive actually doesn’t work on them either just shows up for whatever reason… … …but I’m lazy to check it. X)
But anyway both working on my pet for sure and I think I saw zombies blocking too but not that sure about that.
This thread is mainly trying to determine if sacrament and last rites gets extended to zombies through capella. If it does, that means we can get 3 lines of damage out of each zombie during capella, which would be crazy. It seems unlikely that this works, but you never know on this game.
any word on if capella actually works on your zombies? if not, i’m currently making a chaplain so i could go bokor2 just for giggles and test it
Still no word. I’m guessing it doesn’t work? But you never know. I’m thinking there’s a possibility that it will at least apply blessing because its coming from something other than one’s self.
