Can't start the game - launcher closes and nothing happens

Bug Description :
Try to Start the game, the launcher reach to 100% as always but the game never starts (and just banish from task manager)

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Press Play from Steam

  2. Wait for the launcher ends

  3. the game never start

I’m using Windows 7 32 bits, Avast antivirus but never had that problem before.

Hi, already did the “Verify Integrity of Game Cache” but nothing happens.

Ohhh, I’ve had that a couple of times already and all I can say is…

On a serious note, that prolly had to do with corrupt games (usually happens after an unexpected system crash whilst the game is running) and nope, not even Verifying the Game Integrity (even if it does detect some flaws) will fix it.

What you need is a clean install, by that I mean:

  1. Uninstall game from Steam Library
  2. Locate steamapps>common directory
  3. Delete the entire directory related to Treeofsavior (Now this is the most important part)
  4. Re-install and update patch thereafter

try to delete all “xml” files in your tos release folder, then verify again :smiley:

Sometimes Tickets works so fast, I sent a ticket and got the solution in less than 5 minutes. :grinning:

And that was the solution, still I can’t believe but it works haha.

In fact my first attempt to solve the problem was to verify cache, then I panicked and reinstalled (13 hours re-download the game x_X).

OH MY GOD! worked for me, I wasn’t able to enter after a power shortage.
Thank you so much, now I will work my arse way up to rank 8. <3
