Bug Description :
Since about the maintenance of 18th/19th April I have problems to start the game with steam if I have played once before and got dc’ed by VGA-error etc.
Since this weeks so called “maintenance” it somehow got worse. There are no more VGA-erros that dc me once a day, but the steam-bug got even worse. After I have played for the 1st time at a day, i can’t start the game with steam again. When i click there to start the game (steam is already running) windows asks me if i want the start that programm (TOS) and then… nothing happens. It doesnt matter if I wait some minutes or hours, nothing happens.
I can exclude the following things from the list of possible reasons:
- Windows 10 works fine for others as well
- Addons: I have cross-checked the addons i use with friends who are using the same or more addons and they dont have this bug.
Additional Information:
- Restarting Steam (in itself) doesnt help.
- After ending steam, I have checked if any steam- or TOS-process was running, but that was not the case.
- The only thing that helps atm is to restart the laptop.
–> no idea why this helps, but this cant go on forever. Its bad for the laptop.
Steps to reproduce the issue :
- Start the game.
- Exit the game.
- Try to start it again via steam. (press “play” in steam)
- Nothing happens.
