Bug Description : I cannot socket gems into my equipment.

Did you slot it? you have to slot it first with the npc. and you can put the gem in there.
In his screenshot he said he did (he went to the blacksmith and opened the socket) I’m assuming his problem lies in the dialog box “Are you sure you want to place this gem in the socket? Yes/Cancel” not appearing
A video or screenshots would be more helpful, also keep in my that there are some monster gems that despite saing that they can go into some slots, they actually cant, so there is that.

Yes, there is an available socket in the pieces of armor.
Yes, the gems ARE compatible (this happens with every kind of gem I have) and the green checks showing the compatible items DO appear.
Yes, there no dialog box asking me to socket the item.
When I click the gem and then the item, the gem simply snaps back to my inventory no matter what I do.
Is the gem locked or the equipment you’re trying to put the gem inside locked?
