Cant Sell Or Delete GILT HELMET

Bug Description :
Im unable to delete the iten called Gilt Helmet from my inventory. While im leveling, i dropped it from mobs and now it was locked at my inventory, and i cant delete or sell it to an npc. Its taking me the wheight i need in my inventory to keep itens that i really need. Please make it able to sell or destroy, thank you.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Drop the Gilt Helm
  2. I tryed to sell to an npc and its was impossible!
  3. I try to destroy it dropping out from my inventory window and it was impossible
  4. Im stucked with this dammit Gilt helm at my inventory forever and i cant delete or sell it. Im crazy with it!

Also they’re changing some things regarding item deletion in the future too, but that will be a little ways away.

Sell it on market for 100k. It will disappear in a minute.

I have one alt with personnal storage full of all the trash headgear I find with all my other characters :slight_smile:

What can you do when you have 20+ Kepa Dolls and see 100+ in the market for 100 silver?

I love kepa doll so I got no problem with it been all over me :blush:

for those dense around here, the previous statement was a joke, not been able to at least sell stuff and have it stuck on in the inventory is obviously a problem…

I don’t think its about weight, I think its about needless clutter. As someone who has many useful headpieces that I swap around often, the last thing I’d want is some useless item I cant get rid of in my inventory mixed with them.

Hmm apart from headgear there’s also the problem of many quest items staying in your inventory even after the quest gets completed because off-by-one error in the code (scented candle, ritual device…), or simply not accounting for the fact that you can get more than the required number when you get the items from monster kills and you AoE a pack of monsters (gooey grease…), or because you cannot do anything with them (revelation pieces on alts).

You should be able to remove them from inventory (with confirmation or even double confirmation to be sure you don’t erase a key item). Of course, the better way would be to ensure there are none to begin with and fix the quest bugs.
