Unable to use white joined by a Companion
I get this message every time I use it I hide my companion and also the same problem.
Go in your Lodge and separate your companion from your current character, it should work

I opened Companion tab which is f9 I closed the companion button and still have the same problem.
You gotta remove the companion from the character selection screen.
