Can't Get Miko Advancement

Hello, I’ve been doing the quest to unlock Miko class but I’ve been running to some trouble. My problem is, I’ve done everything to the point where I can talk to the Miko Master. But the Miko Master is not giving me the Advancement Quest to turn into a Miko.

I’m sure I’ve done everything right, this is the guide I followed:

ToS Miko Advancement

I was at 3. Unlock Miko Master when my problem started. When I talked to her, she said some things and then asked if I’m willing to give the Gohei to her. So I did and she took it. I thought that’s what you were supposed to do. But after that… nothing else followed? She did not advance me to step 4. Job Advancement, where you go around 7 locations with the Gohei.

I thought that maybe, I wasn’t high enough to be a Miko. But I’m 207. And I’ve seen a lvl 179 Miko. So it can’t be that…

I’m a C2 Priest, C2 Cleric and C1 Dievdirbys and I’m ready to advance to a new class.

Even www.tosbase.com shows that I can advance to Miko. Cleric>Priest>Priest>Cleric>Dievdirbys>Miko???

I’d appreciate if someone can show me what I’m doing wrong. x_x Thank you in advance.

I took quite a break from the game, BUT:

last time Miko advancement could only be done by FEMALE character.
as I can see on your Screeny, your Chara is male…

(I have a male one too. had to genderchange into female, finish the quest and become a Miko -> change back to a male chara again and be a Kanushi)

hope that helps…
Its the only thing I can think of right now, that prevents you from advancement to Miko.

edit: I have 1 male Miko (kanushi) and 3 female Mikos. I had no problem with my female charas.

Edit: It worked! Thank you so much Ruki-pie. I didn’t know Miko was explusive to Females. But to those males that want to be a Miko/Kannushi, gotta sex change to a girl and then turn back into a guy after becoming a Miko.
