Can't get 100% map exploration?

There are multiple maps where the entire mini map is visible, but I don’t have 100% map exploration?

Am I missing something?

sometimes there are parts that look like they are filled in but are slightly darker

There is also some maps with hidden areas. Like West Siaullai Woods.
