Cant finish Miko pre-quest. Help

So I’ve spent all weekend trying to do the stupid miko quest, and I’m at the point where I’m about to give up. Specifically I’m doing spirit collecting. I’ve done;

  1. Demon Prison 1
  2. Uskis Arable Land
  3. Klaipeda
  4. Orsha
  5. Crystal Mines 3F
  6. Pelke Shrine Ruins

I’ve been trying to do Manahas since the start. First I was just porting back to Manahas to do some rounds between doing the other ones. But as of 5 minutes ago, I’ve spent a literal 9 hours here, running around like an absolute retard, following the guide on the spots it claims it spawns in. I’ve not seen nor heard anything like a dim-blue-orb (that supposedly has an item drop sound effect) the entire time.

Whoever designed this quest must absolutely hate the game and its players, because this is so non-fun and tedious that it can only have been designed to make people quit the damned game.

At this point I’m not even sure anymore if this is the spirit I’m missing or not. But since there’s no way to check which spirits have been done or not, I can’t even check that!

HELP ME. I SWEAR TO GOD I’M GOING TO NUKE THIS ACCOUNT.

I can help…

the spirit you are looking for is not a green glow on the ground…
the spirit in manahas is an oblique shape and semi transparent orb without any glow… you will notice it around the specific areas where they say it will spawn…

also another side note… i also camped 9hrs not knowing what to look for…
i also did something about the background music to 0 and my sound effects volume was at 50…

couz i was reading something in the forums so i needed to concentrate…
and suddenly i heard a thumb sound something that landed near me…
so i alt tab and check my camp site at manahas…

i saw that spirit i describe to you just now… that was not there before i camped…

so take note of this:

the spirit in manahas is oblique in shape… semi transparent without any glow

has a landing sound when you max your effects volume and music to 0

i did the quest just last week… took me 24 hrs in manahas… i didn’t know what to look for in the 1st place couse i dont see any green glow in the ground for those amount of hours i spend camping…

so i change my perspective and look something out of the ordinary… :smiley:

I’ve read these testimonies on so many other threads. I’ve had my music at 0 and my sound at 100 the entire time I’ve been here, looking for these almost unnoticeable objects people keep talking about. I’ve watched videos, checked reddit, and done everything people claim.

I have heard not a single sound, I have seen not a single strange object, dim orb, or anything that has been described as this stupid collectible.

for the sake of the help… i’ll do the gohei quest on my alt… and look for the spirit just to take a pic… :smiley:

I don’t know if this will work for you,but here’s what I did.

Based on a video showing someone seeing the spirit ‘teleport’ around (it shows in one area for a few seconds, disappear, then about 30s later appear in another spot)

What he said was:

  1. Get into a channel with nobody else.
  2. Wait 90 minutes.
  3. Run around looking for it.

Which is what I did for mine, not sure how useful this will be. (My first spirit spawned on top of NPC and the interaction command refused to switch off the NPC, so in fact I missed the spirit once before 30s later finding it)

Ok I’ll have to wait until later to try to find it again. That still seems like something I would have noticed though… But thanks for getting that.

The spirit pops for only something like some seconds, and jump to another of the spawns. Best way to get it technically is to run arround the “major points” spawns where tehre are 3-4 spawns spot for exemple ^^ You have more luck to see it on the good spot ^^

How long should I wait in 1 ch?
some told me that if I cant find in 1 hr then switch the ch. any idea? ;;

Even after following the advice here, it took me about another 5 hours worth of hunting before the thing showed up. I found no rhyme/reason to how it works either.

I submitted a ticket at one point to inquire as to whether it was working or not, and also to provide feedback on how its such a ■■■■ idea. I was basically told “WE DONT WANT TO TAKE THE FUN OUT OF IT FOR YOU!”

Yeah, fun. Right. Keep it up IMC, your “fun” will ruin this game.
