Lol people actually said IMC needs effort to fix this. Facepalm. The core game itself allows trading. IT ACTUALLY TOOK MORE EFFORT TO RESTRICT THINGS.
It’s like having a perfectly good working car and putting a wheel lock on it.
Take the goddamn wheellocks off! Delete the patch that restricted token trading! Keep the “one trade restriction” if u want, so rmts cant exploit it. idc
I dont think this is even anti-RMT because the main idea of rmts is too exploit free stuffs from game and sell it for money. I dont think they will spend money to buy DLC nor can they ddos steam DLC.
…
And no, if I had 120 talts (or recipes or other stuff), I would have given it to him in a heartbeat.
…
And to the wire transfer… facepalm.
…
Like I said, 1.2k+ TP in 2 accts, plus a bunch of tokens in different chars, Just collecting dust. I don’t see the logic of spending on new DLC giftpacks.
…
And thanks to all those people who had helpful replies. kinda nice to know that I’m not the only one who feels that not being able to help new friends is stupid.
Yes, all my friends can afford that 9$ TP. But the nature of new players are, they need to discern first if the game is worth staying or spending money on. Getting them a leg up helps immensely.
Fact: this is my 4th friend that I’ve recruited, the first 3 tried for a bit and left saying “Lol this is the only mmo I know where trading is prohibited. Why TF are you still playing this lol”
Yeah… apparently, it’s global mmo tradition to give new player-friends money and equips to boost their start.
You cant give silver or token in this game. And by the time you are able to offer them equips… after 3 days and 20 hours of mind-numbing, slow movement-speed gameplay – barely scraping all their loots to buy cheap weapons and sacrament buffs – (plus the uber long loading screen and uber lagg to get to ch1-2 town for the sacra buff), they be like “fuk no, too late, I’ve had it, I’m going back to my previous mmo!”
Yeah.
