Can't even play anymore because of lag problems out of nowhere

Bug Description: I love this game dearly, but i hate how it’s managed. Aside from the problems everyone else knows and we all endure, now the game is unplayable for me. I have a perfect internet connection (10mb, i dont have the knowledge to tell anything specific about it but for example, i can watch HD videos in YouTube without buffering) and yet i keep getting severe lag problems, high and random latency. Im playing normally and suddenly everything freezes. That happened once when mobbing, i was killed. Or in dungeons, where i have to quit the game and come back, then the bosses were already dead. I cant even play it anymore, seriously. Im a Brazilian player (if you hate how most brazilians act, dont be worse than them by being stupid to me for nothing) and i play on a NA server, but that doesnt explain anything since this problem is recent and came up some patches ago (cant be specific tho).

You are not alone.
Servers are in worse condition than closed beta.
I’ve almost died trying to load into a map because of monsters at the entrance of the warp.

Don’t know the number of times I’ve had to restart client just to login =_=

You reminded me of something.
Sometimes, i need to click buttons to connect to server or select character 3, 4 times for it to work. That would be not a problem tho, if it was the only thing.

Another detail is: Im spending days logging in around 30 minutes and rage quitting, while my token time keeps going. And im not getting any silver to renew it later. I cant understand IMC tho, so many problems, so many complaints, and not a single gm and no problem solved. Only new items on TP trader. Wow, great.

Chiming in with my experience, this time on Varena. Random DC’s, sudden lag spikes while a “ping www.googl.com -t” on a CMD window shows no abnormal changes in connection.

Hi, Mizore. I’m on your friend’s list in-game (Royaliste). I guess these issues are why I never see you on anymore. :cold_sweat:

I really think IMC broke something during one of the last few maintenance, because the lag has definitely intensified. Also I think the client has some kind of memory leak going on, because the longer you run it the more it seems to hang and glitch and stutter, so I end up having to quit and restart after a while.

I kinda felt it was my problem. My guild mates don’t get as much lag as I’m getting now, and almost every time I got the lag spikes looks like my party members and other players are fine and it looks like it’s only my problem.

I updated all my drivers, completely reinstalled TOS and did every thing I could. But I’ve been having these lag spikes since last week patch. It’s literally almost every 10 min, like twice every single mission… it’s completely unplayable.

After that, I really started to think it was something with my internet service provider, so I already contacted them and asked them to reset my signal. Even tho they saw my connection was stable, they reseted and I still get these huge lag spikes. Other games and services like netflix, youtube, etc are completely fine… I can even watch them in ultra hd without problem…

Really sad to experience this after all this time and in an even worse way than it was in cbt…

high ping for the past 2 weeks…i dunno what really happened before the f2p launch update. semi-playable for me but it gets boring if i keep on playing while lag spikes up during mission/dungeon runs.

telstiai/varena server (SG) went nuts…

if this issue keeps up…i’ll just lie low for now and go back on drawing stuff for the mean time

Did you ever tried using a TCP? Try pingzapper, at least it work for me, from 300~ ping it changed to 60- on Silute. If you need any help to configure it, just send me a message. You get a 7 days free account anyway, just give a try.

I’m getting random rubberbanding leading up to login error 0001 repeatedly on Klaipeda. It gets significantly worse during peek hours regardless of what channel I’m on. During last nights storage grind, it got to the point that I couldn’t stay connected for 30 seconds before getting login error 0001. I didn’t even know this error existed before last maintenance when the channels were increased after being decreased out of nowhere.

Thanks for the generosity. Aparently, i wont need it. Logged in yesterday and the connection seemed fine, at least.

But anyway, i find it funny how they create an area on the forum for bugs, problems etc and no adm shows up to explain or help after days. Such compromising with the playerbase…
