Can't Carve Vakarine

I’m not sure if this is a bug or I’m missing something but the tooltip for Carve Vakarine says that it consumes 1 Oak Wood. I have Oak but I still can’t use the skill. Any ideas why this happens?

As you can see R is assigned to Carve Vakarine and L is assigned to Oak.

(inb4 yes I did search the forum for similar posts and the only thread I could find was from August and if this is the same bug 7 months later hooo bOY)

Oak wood != Oak.

check you inventory again.

I thought the mats bought from the Diev Master came ready to use. How can I make Oak into Oak Wood then?

Diev master sells Oak and Oak Wood. Just buy the right item.

Ok one more question, what is the purpose of Oak?

The description says that it’s crafting material. So perhaps some recipes need it.
