Cannot launch the game

Today I cannot enter the game. After clicking on the “start game” button I get a black screen for a few seconds then nothing. Going into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release\dump and looking for Client_tos_x64_[20230212-161621]_Stack.txt I have this error:

if I try to use the 32 bit client I get:

Sending a support ticket on the issue yields the following response: “We are afraid there’s nothing we can do to help you with that problem.” I’m spechless…

Nevermind. Went to Steam and clicked on “verify integrity of files” and the check found 9 unverified files. After redownloading the files I’m able to connect to the game now. Hope that fixed my problem for good.

Edit: most of the players in the support guild had same problem today, so it’s a general issue. If you got the same problem, there must be some invalid files added from a recent patch, so go to Steam and click “verify integrity of files” to redownload the correct files and fix the problem.
