Cannot decide between Plague doctor or Kabalist Rank 7 class

Hi all,

This is my first time on this web board.

Currently, I’m pure full support cleric class at level 208
My build: Cleric 2 > Priest 3 > Krivis 1

In rank 7, I cannot decide between Plague Doctor or kabbalist for full support.

  • For Plague doctor: I focus on Healing Factor, Bloodletting, Fumigate skills
  • For kabbalist: I focus on Ein Sof, x7, Gematria/Notarikon/Reduce level skills

My Playing Style:
I’m pure support using Heal, Buff, Protection skills to my allies and I don’t attack enemies by myself because very low attack damage.

I always play with my friend (Archer-Ranger-Sapper) for map questing, dungeon and daily mission every day, which his class very consumes SP. So, I am interested in Kabbalist’s Ein Sof skill because it help my friends recover SP. My friend will love me more :-).

But I’m worried about prevention/cure the abnormal status after 230+ (late game), that skills are very important?

Summary my Question:

  1. Prevention/Cure the ailments status skill such as Bloodletting(Plague doctor), Fumigate(Plague doctor), Prophecy(Oracle), Indulgentia(Padoner) skills are very important for 230+ dungeon, map questing in late game ?
  2. Kabbalist’s Gematria/Notarikon/Reduce skill - what situations these skills are useful?
  3. From my build, please suggest rank7 class or build I should?

Thank you very much

Plague doctor is a must for full support build~Bloodletting is the reason, u need to provide immunity for the team~

Kabbalist works better with Oracle in PVE, Arcane Energy+Ein Sof plus Oracle already have rank1 immune from Prophecy~

Well this is not entirely true. It depends on what youre going to do with your build.

Kabbalist is really good option for pvp due to x7 and after we get the PD pvp nerf PD wont be as OP with bloodletting.

And for general pve you wont really need bloodletting even tho its nice to have in some situations. Not sure about ET.

Enjoy the infinite freeze if u dont have Bloodletting or Prophecy or Silence~

Yea tahts true. Take pd or be useless. Iw as wrong :((

Because with the upcoming cd on bloodletting youre definitely still going to die to that freeze after the duration ends. We’re all going to die unless we stack a lot of PDs. :frowning: Rip pvp.

OH WAIT! I have spr on my pvp char so I can actually resist cc. But why would I add spr, its such a bad stat!! Oh no…

We are talking about a full support build and all u r thinking about is urself?
Yes, u have some SPR, and maybe resist some cc, but what about other team members?

Hi all, thanks for your answer

I have more some questions:

1.There are any items or scroll skill can help Prevention/remove the ailments status to party?
2. What and How many the map or dungeon require Bloodletting or Prophecy (late game)?

Plague doctor is far superior, incinerate has sick damage, healing factor makes yourself almost imposible to kill and bloostickering gives total cc inmunity whit just 5 seconds downtime.

kabalist double the hp pool then use half that hp for boost damage, the car damage is pretty low and using it as a mount is abit bad because it explodes on contact whit a mob. All the number thing is pointless.

you still on time for get druid 2 that has sick dps.

plague doctor, that’s the popular pvp build

Kabbalist for full support, free sp for whole party. Eles, Fletchers & Sorcs will love u deep deep.

Well they should have some spr too if we’re talking about spr. If you try to pvp on a pve toon you will most likely get dumpstered anyways cause youre lacking a lot of important stats such as con and spr.

Revenge7fold can turn the table when used right in pvp. Hot wheels looks strong in pvp and it’s funny watching it chase players.

I dont think there’s other way to grant immunity for ailment status…
all dungeons above 200 will require immunity(200 with sleep, 217 with freeze, etc)Map farming should be OK since mobs tend to die very fast before they can cast anything~

  1. You can use dispeller scrolls in open pvp.

  2. 0 maps and 0 dungeons require bloodletting. Its nice to have yeah maybe but its not really that needed. Its good for pvp though. But you can easily do everything without bloodletting. And I can tell it from experience. (My other char is PD and other char is chronomancer. I used bloodletting at times but it never made anything go significantly faster. On my chrono I rarely had bloodletting and the statsu alinments never bothered me.)

If youre going to jump on @Krisstina 's train on “omgeee I need bloodletting to survive in this game”, you really have to be a bad player who probably has no con on pve char cause it doesnt increase damage.

dont think much abot bloodletting, is the last skill that you will pick and thats on lvl11 job at 260ish. just max incineration rigth of the bat then healing factor.

Still wondering if the beak mask block knockdowns, guess ill never know.

I’m torn between maxing Bloodletting and 2 points for Incineration or other way around… which one should I pick for general purpose (pvp arena/pve)?

I have a similar doubt. Guess we could wait for they reveal cleric rank 8 for some help too

does bloodletting let you keep acting through those smoke bombs thrown by archer monsters?

yes. I’ve tried it on dungeon 217

Do u know when cleric rank 8 announcement?
