imagine the amount of bots, trolls , and annoying freeloading kids would appear if you continue the f2p release , It’s just my opinion I’d still play the game if it goes f2p but as of right now b2p is the safer and more controllable option for now, or at least delay the release of open beta till imc finds a way to control the bots

yea, b2p hasn’t stopped bots and whatever else in any other game, how would it magically work here?
additionally, f2p earns, on average, double for the company.

yeah it won’t stop the bots but at least they can at least control it for now till they think of something to stop them, I think best is to delay the open beta , imagine the bots would double when f2p comes and the amount of players would be too much to handle, and going b2p would at least limit but yeah you guys have good points tho

I ALSO said delay the release of open beta, imagine how uncontrollable it’ll be when f2p comes out
you probably won’t finish the miner’s village quest when f2p comes due to the large influx of players and non stop bots
I totally sign for B2P, just to keep SOME of the trash out.
as if this community is any bit better than an f2p community. probably one of the most annoying and boring groups of people i’ve ever been around, if I generalize.
Plenty of nice people ingame, but I mean, the paywall didn’t keep you out so oops.

You really think they’re going to delay the game release and alter the mechanics to make it a B2P setting when its April F2P release is in about 1 week?
We don’t have sexy butt poses for SJWs to complain about so this isn’t going to happen…

yeah they probably won’t it’s just a suggestion , it’s really hard to play this game already, just imagine when f2p comes out hell will break loose on this forum, if they give 3 choices for b2p like the choices for exclusive access, it will be very affordable and at least filter out the community or people that won’t be beneficial to the , game / or people who would just add more to the problem, let’s be honest only a small portion of people waiting for f2p are willing to spend on the cash shop
it would at least help filter the players , and community is more toxic in f2p environments, or at least let there be a separate server for b2p people
their logic is why do this when we can just make more money with p2w items and slap beta to give them an half-ass game?

there IS NO OPEN BETA. iTOS open beta was scrapped.
this game has already had its exclusive access public release, and will be going general public release in a week and a half.
it’s not a Steam Early Access beta game. it’s a live release.
but it clearly doesn’t work, as they let you in

but just look around, the current b2p hasn’t stopped the RMT’s, so leaving it as b2p isn’t going to stop them in the future either.

look at the community that is present in the current state.
this -is- the b2p state, with all the toxic horrible people who have nothing better to do than whine, and demand everything “right now or else.”
and you’re still ignoring that b2p models earn half as much, on average, as f2p + cash shop.
I can tell you B2P doesn’t always help filter toxic players. Have you played Black Desert? Tons of players bought that game even me and that world chat in the beginning days was just horrid even for a great game. Nonstop poltical chat, Twitch memes and w/e I didn’t understand.
