Can you use an expired exp tome as crafting material?

I have 3 pcs of exp tomes that’s about to expire in 3 days, I’m wondering if I can save them up and use them as crafting for a x4 exp tome, even when they’re pass their expiration dates. Can anyone confirm? Thanks

you must use them before they expire. once expired you can never use it again.
Yes combining them to a x4 tome will make it perm.

Best bet, wish the goddess for a 4th tome or just use them individually…
