I dont think so, I think its just a filler item to give you extra money.
You can craft silver with it i think, by giving them to merchant.

those guys are trying to scam you guys, talt sells for 5k at the merchant while they usually offer 3,5k for it, since the price is hidden and only shows when selling it.

The funny thing is I see talt in the merchant selling for under 5k too lol
you sure this wasn’t when the prices got reduced? i am quite sure i sold mine for 5k before, i remember because i ws glad to get it instead of gear which would have been worth less than that
Some people are tricking people by setting up buy-in stalls for 3k. Some people does not know how much it is sold straight to the merchant which is 5k.
Not sure what you mean. Merchant is where you sell items to players.
When you sell Talt straight to the NPC-Merchant you can get 5k out of it.
But if you sell it to those who have Buy-In-Stalls they only buy/pay for it for 2-3k.
Do the math and obvious this people are taking advantage of people who does not know the real price for Talt.

Yah and what im saying is people are dumb and taking advantage of themselves. All day I search talt in the market, buy a ton for 3-4.5k and then sell it to the npc xD
People just think its worth only 3.5k or something ;p

It is also worth 100 to feed to gems instead of the common +5 from random junk items. So each one is worth 20 filler items.
