Does the freezing status caused by most of cryomancers skills and elementalist’s hail changes your targets element into ice? the same goes with stone curse, does it change your targets element into earth?
No, they stay the same element however a Druid with Chortasmata can change an enemy to a plant type, I presume changing its elemental defense. I think this is the only skill able to change the elemental property/defense of an enemy.

I don’t know for sure but I don’t think it does anything with element because race/type of the enemy has nothing to do with element.
I guess it doesn’t specifically change the element but it does change how skills that affect plants work on the enemy, which is as close as you’re going to get I believe to actually changing anything in the enemy.
But yeah, you’re right it doesn’t change the elemental property. It’s just the closes thing you could get to it 
I gotta try that out too later in iCBT 2 just to make sure so that if an enemy can absorb my damage, if they change to a plant type, will they still absorb the damage? Testing testing
