Anyone happen to know if we can hold onto our rank-up cards after close of event? Maybe in anticipation for rank 9? There’s no ‘expires’ annotation on the cards so it’s got me wondering…
Cards have no expiry date so yes
I’m assuming yes since some event items are still present in our inventories, but you’d have to do the advancement quests though.
Advancement quest ia nothing compare to when IMC nukes a class you roll into and now is stuck or need to reroll from level 1… this will happen with rank 9 expected to come out this year.
By your logic we all shouldn’t be playing anyway because there’s a ‘chance’ for every class to be nerfed to the ground. I mean why would I make a character if it’s possible to get sh-it on at rank 10 or rank 11 or somewhere in the year 2020.
i have read like someone said that IMC will give us more rank reset when with important changes i guess they will do it again but it is not a bad idea and it makes sense i don’t have enough confident with IMC words and their balance patchs

If those cards don’t expire as mentioned, then you’ve got a little jackpot there, save them till this event ends and the real good metas start to be shared, then yes, use them wisely
They didn’t specify when exactly this year will rank 9 be released, if it was released in late August or even later by the time they released and you were waiting for god knows how many months you could’ve made three or even six more alts and hundreds of millions of silvers.
What to do with a 330 toon? You farm ET, (But the gear is going to be outdated bla bla) well look at how many people are still farming lolo even when solmiki is available. Good luck not touching your account for months long because you’re too afraid at what might not even happen and are too fixated on being ‘meta’.

they only removed the quests for this event. so after today’s maint, you need to do the quests again.
I have only solidified 3 of my 10 characters. The rest are completely reset. I know how IMC works: they make small changes over time which can have big impacts on certain classes, and don’t offer resets to those affected.
i’m gonna kill imc [that’s my way of saying i’m gonna burst into depression] for having to do the ranking quest for rank 8 again. that was such a pain -_-

When I used to play Wakfu, you got resets for changes to your class. So no, it is not every MMO.
