Apparently I got a key and I heard that the icbt server doesn’t go live until Oct 27, if I activate my key on steam today will I be able to patch the client so I can just play when the servers go up?

Yes you can download the up to date client already as soon as you register your key through steam 
Thanks for the replies, just making sure lol, I still remember the first cbt trolling me on my birthday when they announced that they were giving away additional keys 
HAHAHA yeah I was totally surprised of that too
I am so glad I stayed up till 12 am that day and I got lucky on ditching a key
Twas good even if there were just about 2 and half day left for me to play ToS XD
