After buying laptop and doing tests these are my fps:
Boss fights 58-65 with random lagspikes to 45fps.
Empty maps or with random monsters (environment lag check) 80-97 fps
My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 310-15IKB, playing at 1366x768 resolution. Vsync was OFF and bitperpixel is at 32. This laptop plays this game better than my desktop lol!
No,you won’t be able to run the game well with these specs.
IMO the requirements listed on steam to run the game are +_ only good to run the game for standing around in town.
If you start having to switch off options, you will soon notice that the game becomes clunkier with animation and loading. It’s not preferable.
By the way, I’m running the game with a better system and it’s still not good enough, especially your processor CPU is way too weak to run the game well.
I’m currently thinking about upgrading mine because of the lag & edginess caused by the particles and FPS drops, but a good CPU is so expensive nowadays that it doesn’t really feel worth the upgrade just to play TOS semi-stable/stable.
My desktop runs ToS at auto settings with stable 60 fps. Gets lower only at crowded worldbosses.
My desktop specs are much worse than specs I gave above, except for GPU which is superior. That’s why I was curious if it would work on my new laptop too.
CPU: AMD Phenom II 945 (worse than i5)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX750 2Gb (much better than 920mx)
RAM: 3Gb 800MHz
1920x1080
nope, i got 1080ti and still got VGA error all the time, not to mention without closed all effect i cant even play properly in stage 5 CM or crowded WB fight its like your fps from 60fps drop to 5fps…u better hope for 3080ti to play this properly
Yes you can (with lower graphic settings). I’m playing this game with 2015 Macbook Pro and elder Mac Mini (all have Intel Iris graphic cards, using Bootcamp/Windows).
lol
I run Tos with this:
Pentium Dual-Core E5400 @ 2700 GHz 2,69 GHz
4Gb ram
Win 7
And a very old Amd Hd 5450 graphic card.
30-40fps in dun/raid sometimes it drops to 15-20
Need to put everything off beside effects of other chars and can do everything.
Wb can be harsh sometime :<
I got one potato laptop which has core 2 duo p8600, 4Gb ram and Mobility Radeon HD 3450. Still good enough for solo grind and quests. Insane fps drops near other players though.
how the hell you said all other comment is retarded…my 1080ti GC is powerfull enough to handle all big AAA title, and iam using i7 3930k OC with 16GB ram…pretty much i had 100fps in other field but who the hck care on the field without people when the important part in this game is CM stage 5-7, WB, ET, and velco…which mob spawn hundred and hundred…and even with high end rig you still get 5fps when u turn on every effect…i still need to turn off every effect especially “dead part” effect otherwise game lag as hell and not to mention when event wedding dress and quiz, everytime drop item it make game lag sometimes freeze even when you turn off all effect…better off make this game without effect if the effect make the game lag when play those CM/ET/GVG/WB…
As far as i remember, the requirements posted on steam were kinda “raised” from what it was previously. One change was minimum 4gb ram requirement to 8gb
because your lag can very well be related to cpu bugs and not gpu.
I don’t lag in velcoffer for example.
edit: wait. @killeraxe90 did you modify user.xml?
The game doesn’t run smooth on low specs, though, that’s the point xD
If you enable some of the options that require more system ressources, the game suddenly starts to run more fluently, everything is moving faster and the animations are less clunky.
Of course it worsens if your system can’t handle the load of more players/monsters, but as a matter of fact, more options enabled will improve the gaming experience, and not only in case of aesthetics/graphics.
That’s one reason I stated that it won’t run well.
The other reason is that you still have loading issues in towns, stuttering (e.g. character ignoring parts of fast input chains) and FPS drops.
As the OP asked if the system can handle it well, I thought he’s talking about a good gaming experience;
Turns out that all he wanted to know is if the system would be able to handle daily 08/15 content participation regardless of performance.
That can be indeed achieved with a low-spec computer as long as the graphic card is good enough, you have enough RAM and turn off the most graphic settings.
The game won’t run well but it will run.
