Can I keep enhancing a Weapon after being transcendenced?

Just that question, I want to keep enchanting my weapon, but I don’t quite understand if it’s possible after being transcendenced, and neither would like to waste the gems. Thanks.

If iam not mistaken you can enhance your weapon but the transcendence effect only apply to the original value when it was transcendenced.

I hope i was clear enough.

So, a +6 weapon with 10% transcendance will have a lower Physical attack than the same weapon being transcendenced at +10, por example?

If iam not mistaken yes, thats is correct.

it really works like this? cus its dumb lol

What if, I transcended a weapon at +5 stage 1
So now, it gets the +5 bonus

After that, I enhanced my weapon to +10, then transcend stage 2, will the enhancing of +10 count now on stage 2?

Maybe transcendence only applies to base weapon stats regardless of it enhance level, I don’t know really, it’s quite confusing.

I dont know lv 2, didnt make it there yet.

I kinda felt stupid forgetting to get squire maintenance before doing transcendence.

Transcendence work on the BASE weapon damage
That mean the % bonus is apply only on the BASE WHITOUT UPGRADE STATT

If you weapon go 200 base statt and enchance it to +X for a total of +100 bonus damage
Total = 200 Base + 100 Enchance = 300

Then transcendence will work this way.
200 * (100%+Transcendence%) + 100 = Total Damage

Also 2 thing I must say.
1-Transcendence make your item untradable.
2-Transcendence Got mutiple lv, Can fail and I think are expodential bonus insted of additional (lv1 = 10% / 2 = 30%/ 3 = 60% or something) If The Transcendence table I saw was right
Max lv = 10 and that would be 500% (250% for other type than weapon)

Thanks for clearing it up.

Transcendence automatically updates according to the weapon’s CURRENT physical damage, no need to worry.

For example, this weapon:

Its original damage (unupgraded) was 516, and became 651 after anvil refinement. After transcendance, it became 716 (651 x 1.1 = 716).

Now, if we do a weapon maintenance:

This weapon would have 828 damage (716 + 112) if transcendence did not automatically update to the new physical attack value, but it does and thus we get 839.

At lv 1 transcend you get +10% bonus, as shown above. Lv 10 however, is +550% bonus. That means this same bow that has 839 damage at lv 1 will have 4,959 damage at lv 10.

Since you get more returns out of physical damage than any other stat via transcendance, after enough transcend levels you will start to see 2h weapons (staves, bows) obsolete 1h weapons (crossbow, rods) + offhand in terms of damage.
