If you got this damage from the wiki, it is probably wrong. The wiki isnt updated and has many skills wich cant pass lvl 5 progressing till lvl 15. And yes, the damage mitigation would reduce it drastically, or else many skills would one hit on pvp wich would be inconceivable.
Oh well, there are many possible candidates for an Asura Strike.
Sure, i guess damballa or astral body explosion but this jump got a low cooldown.

Yeah, these numbers are just for PvE. We don’t know how PvP will work in ToS.
why would you want to 1 hit people? that’s not pvp that’s just a contest to see who can press a button the fastest.

In current classes condition, yes you can.
You can focus on your STR VIT and equip a shield as that stomping kick doesnt require you to use any specific weapon. So you can use it by using 1 handed sword & shield. Your class choice should be Swordsman-Peltasta-Barbarian.
Are you implying that 1HKO aren’t competitive?
There are a lot of games with touch of death combos that practically work the same way, and Ragnarok also had a lot of one shot skills like Asura and Sonic Blow and it was still very skillful PvP gameplay.
Beta changes everything, if its OP on beta, it will be nerf badly, even release games nerf some skills
I guess by definition 1hko skills can be competitive… Just maybe not the most fun or balanced to have, for obvious reasons (everyone would play said class).
I would only ever accept such thing in a game if it had huge drawbacks or possible counter-attacks (such as a paladin with reflect shield up on RO); or perhaps a form of cast-breaker. I think it worked well on RO cause the card system had such a large impact on the game it allowed for a seemingly endless build variety.
I’m still mostly against it, though. Its fine to have a high burst move, but a one-hit move is a completely different thing.
pvp wise:
i think u can one hit certain class/build but not all… specialy if the enemy is a tactician (uses stun often). the problem is, u need mostly stats that deals more damage (maybe STR or crits, idk) and buff skill on swordsman class has either negative deff effects or negative on evasions. so chances u have are slim. u are prone to counter attack from long range and stomping kick just inst gonna cut for ya (probably enemy player will likely see ur gonna do stomping kick and instantly evades ur AoE circle). i think one on one u got most of the advantage if u stun the enemy 1st (probably)
pve wise:
u can do AoE (from stomping kick) and ur team/party members can support while u do most of the damage while tanking(if u have high HP, deff certainly is disregarded due to some buff skills). problems: i think barbarian dosnt have provoking skills (maybe if ToS has a threat system that can change agro of mobs to u) then ur barbarian build is mostly linear tank+AoE than all-around tank.
conclusions: u need a party to make ur build successful in doing 1-hits or u need hiding skills to 1-hit XD
hmm but i dont know much how damage u can make even after getting pump up skills on swordsman class, lest just hope u can test it on beta test ![]()
(ps:dont tell the devs to nerf ur build if ur successful on 1-hitKO XD)
Please no to 1hit ko skills… Its gonna be so boring. Please allow us to use combination of skills and required conditions to beat each other. See Dragon nest compensation system in PvP. Don’t be like a game with RO1 PvP system.

True! and true again! 1 hit kills the game for me. It make the game so fricking boring. Month ago I was playing Ro renewal with Ranger class and I used one skill all the fricking time… Arrow strom!
