Can hunter's companion have a lobotomy, please?

So, if you’ve got a companion long enough with one character it will kind of patrol around you. this behaviour messes with hunters skills even further. So please, if the companion’s player character entity is a hunter, remove all it’s AI make it an empty shell that only serves to walk RIGHT NEXT to the hunter an only obey its commands instead of trying to chase flowers, hit an enemy the opposite direction of the hunter and all those shenanigans.
