Hi, everyone! I have a question.
I fought a Barb yesterday and i couldn’t seem to block his skills (particularly Helm Chopper)
I put my Cross Guard up but he still managed to stun me everytime.
So, My question is : Can Cross Guard really blocks physical attack(Swordman/Archer) skills?

Being damage and being under a stats condition are different things, if you didn’t receive damage but still got stun it is normal, unless in the skill description it says you will be immune to CC stats.

yes Cross Guard is working as shield guard
so if its physical attack its can block
block should work as evade so its negate all damage and disable (if block is show)
my guess is helm chopper is double hit skill and you only manage to block 1 attack
edit. after reread your post i will say thats crossguard is not alway block p.attk but its give a chance to block
Small tip:
Cross Guard not only improve pierce damage,
but also root the target for 8 second (with attribute)

may be because my Cross Guard level is a bit too low (Lv.3) that’s why i couldn’t block that. Thank you.
and what happens when the opponent is rooted? can they still use their skills?
they can attack and using skill but cant move
so its good skill to deal with archer and also catapharct
