Calm down people, don't care about those exploits, we're still in beta!

Calm down, people

When we get out of beta, everything will be fine!

You’re actually serious?

The amount of bugs and problems we have are typical in a beta phase of an MMO,yes. But they officially moved on from that stage quite a while ago.Doesn’t matter what counter argument anyone may have,ToS has been out and released for quite some time. There’s no going back from that.

This kind of thing made more sense when last year it seemed like iCBT3 was possible, but now anyone taking this stance is simply looking for an excuse to the madness.

Im just mad that when I played TOS and tried to talk about the problems EVERYONE in this forum used the same phrase “We’re still in beta”

Now, nothing changed and people now know that we’re NOT in beta, those slow and stupid people now know

Now I just want to see this place burn with everyone

@Melon

are you pouring oils into the fire ?

Like I said in the other thread, this is bad, but it isn’t the worst I have seen. At least for ToS, it isn’t as bad as that injector bug. But I can name a few worse exploits in past games like FF11’s subligar exploit where you can get infinite gil. Or Aion’s duplication exploit. Or RO’s duplication exploit/infinite zenny exploit that caused a wipe. We will see what happens next.

I’m not entirely sure when you started playing, but if we were in the iCBT1 or 2 phase, then that would be applicable response. That is a time you’re encouraged to speak up more about the issues because typically a game company is eagerly awaiting that feedback so they can promptly fix things. This is normally how things go.

But we’ve seen that no matter what phase this game is in,Closed Beta 1 and 2 > Early Access/Founder’s > Release, the response time is about the same.

No one expected things to be this bad back then,so why still blame them? They defended something they strongly believed in,and had no reason to think otherwise. Now most people are like yourselves. So pointing fingers at anyone other than IMC doesn’t mean much of anything at all.

@yggtreeberry: Oh sure,I believe that. But a good and fast dev team can really make all the difference. And yeah, that’s really all the people left here can really do.Just stick around and see what happens next.

There was a few times when Elsword had to be rollbacked twice because the devs put an item you could buy with a higher resell value. So people did this over and over and got free money in the game. Needless to say anyone who used gacha when the server got sent back a week, people were pissed and there was barely any compensation.

There was also the time LaTale got rollbacked because of an injector that made enchanting 100%, despite LaTale’s airtight. Hell, I don’t even have to talk about how many times Rumble Fighter got hacked. Even I hacked Rumble Fighter back then, because OGP only banned the account you hacked on. So if you hacked on one account, transferred your spoils to another to not be overexaggerated, you got away with it.

While I can’t stand IMC, I realize I really hate this community and I’m thankful I found my niche of friends who play the game still. Like holy ■■■■, I can’t even call this a community. Community implies individuals who live in relative harmony, not feeding off of each other’s tears or rage like hungry vultures.

hehe that’s true. But a good community needs time to build. You can’t just throw people into a room and hope they will play nice with each other. I mean have you seen Big Brother on ABC? It doesn’t happen. It takes time and tolerance for everyone to understand each other.

Though in my opinion, a good community doesn’t begin until the game is a couple of years after release when all the hypes are gone. Once expectation is gone, and all the people who came for the hype leaves, you will end up with a close niche community.
