Cafrisun Set Translation

Bug Description : Not a bug. Simply a translation of what the set actually does.
(letting us know what you were doing before, during, and after the bug happened will help us a lot)

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Equip 2, 3 or 4 pieces of the Cafrisun Armor set
  2. 2 Pieces: HP Recovery increased by 16
  3. 3 Pieces: All stats increased by 1
  4. 4 Pieces: Gain Effect ‘Power of Cafrisun’ (+12 Earth Property damage on attack)

Is this the official confirmed translation? I’m fairly certain that this set does different things based on your class. As a ranger, equipping the full Cafrisun set did not give me earth damage, but it gave me 8 points of poison resistance. I’m 100% positive of that.

8 poison resistance points are provided by Cafrisun Armor itself. Are you sure it’s not the case? I played cleric, btw, and, even though i manage to obtain a full Cafrisun set, i did not figure out what it’s bonuses were. But equipment stats was sort of good enough by itself, so oh well :expressionless:

Oh, maybe that was the only stat change I noticed simply because the armor was the one piece that I kept toggling on and off to see if any stats changed. I didn’t seem to get any bonus for wearing all 4 pieces, if that’s the case.

The bonus you get for the entire set appears just under your HP/SP bars as a permanent buff. The +12 Earth damage from this buff will not show up in any of your character’s stats (on the F1 tab), you will only notice the extra damage when you actually attack something.

(I know it looks like it should be a speed buff, but it actually does add Earth damage)

oh nice, come to think of it, i did notice that icon at some point after getting the full set.

Whoops, was gone for a bit there.

Some thing to note is that the +12 Earth damage from the Buff is also subject to weakness/resistance. I found that it would do 6-24 Earth Damage depending on the monster. I don’t know if there is a monster that can heal from the Earth Element but this could also prove detrimental in some cases =P

The biggest benefit of Cafrisun set is with classes with +flat damage skills like Priest’s Blessing, since that applies to all hits in a swing, but only use 1 charge per swing (so something like Priest Sacrament + Wizard Enchant Fire + Cafrisun set would get 3 more bonus from Blessing)
