C2 cleric or C1 priest

Here is my current build with stat allocation of 3:2 SPR CON.

I know C2 krivis was my biggest mistake in the build just for easier leveling but there is nothing I can do about it now.

As I am getting closer to R7, I need to decide in between C2 cleric or C1 priest.

Cleric for better healing and priest for Resurrection.

it is obvious that both choice won’t help during solo play, therefore I would like to ask for your opinion. Which would you guys prefer better?

-10 more healing tiles
-20 extra hit for safety zone
-divine might

Priest

  • even just lv5, my blessing should still go over 200 on my SPR scaling
    -Aspersion for 20% defence, not that helpful but I have daino so why not
    -Monstrance, along with Zalciai with allow all DEX build in the party to achieve extremely high critical rate
    -Maxed Resurrection

as a party member. which one would you prefer batter?

Healing is far more important than ressing…

Reasons:

  • Nobody likes dying. People will get frustrated and complain at you for not healing enough.

  • Equipments break on death. That means on most grind spots if a party member dies 2~3 times, they will have to go back to town to repair anyways.

  • People tend to naturally run away from combat when they’re low on health. They’ll just keep waiting there until you heal them. They won’t have the mindset of “ok i’ll fight to death cause he’ll ress me anyways”.

  • Ressurect can be replaced with soul crystals.

  • A cleric with ress is a better support, but there are many cleric builds that don’t include ress.

Any decent support build should have cleric c2, anything else after that is auxiliary. Priest resurrection sure is nice, but helping comrades to not die in the 1st place should be the priority, IMO.
